The Department of Emergency Medical Services responds to approximately 31,000 emergency calls annually. The service is highly rated as one of the best in the state by the Department of Public Health Division of Emergency Medical Services

The Department has 76 personnel. EMS is dispatched through a 911 call center out of the police department with 38 EMD certified dispatchers

The department offers CPR, First Responder, EMT Certification Program, ACLS, PALS training monthly. For scheduling call Deputy Chief Camara 508-324-2740.

  • Medic-2, Medic-7 & Medic-9 at the Flint Reney / Eastwood Fire Station, 400 Eastern Avenue
  • Medic-3 & Medic-8 at the Kosior / Globe Fire Station, 659 Globe Street
  • Medic-4, Medic-1, Squad-11 & EMS-7 at the Central Fire Station, 165 Bedford Street
  • Medic-5 & Tango-1 at the Bernard Station, 120 Commerce Drive
  • Medic-6 at the Niagra / Candeias Station, 1010 Plymouth Avenue
