Streets & Highways

The Department of Streets and Highways oversees a range of essential functions, including but not limited to street reclamation projects, pothole repair, vehicle maintenance, municipal auctions, snow removal, graffiti cleanup, brush and litter removal, sidewalk repair, city-wide cleanups, and street sweeping operations.

The Streets and Highways Division employs 40 city workers at any given time, and is responsible for several city vehicles including street sweepers, salt trucks, snow plows, as well as the pothole and graffiti machines.
